About US

HEAL Group is a non-profit organization based in Nepal that provides high quality services in the public health sector, Nutrition and education, primarily focusing on children, remote, hard to reach, marginalized, and disadvantaged populations. Technical staffs have extensive working experience with the Ministry of Health & Population and Ministry of Education. The technical staff of HEAL Group has international expertise in systems and policy, monitoring and evaluation, Research and implementation of public health (maternal, neonatal and child health; family planning; health logistics; nutrition; WASH; malaria; tuberculosis), education.

What We Do ?

HEAL Group works strategically to further the relationship between the stakeholders involved in health and education sector along with inline Ministries of Government of Nepal. HEAL Group extends offer on the following services:

Conduction of studies/assessments/evaluations in the field of Child Health, Child Nutrition, Child Immunization, Child Education, Health Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Sexual Reproductive Health Right, International Classification of Decease (ICD), Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), School Education with primary focus on in developing and implementing the program
Reviewing the documents (articles, data, policies, guidelines) and development of case studies
Design and development of logistics system and its implementation.
Development of Project Monitoring Plan and Project Close up Plan and its Implementation.
Designing and development of online or virtual studies and surveys and implementation.
Develop a social networking group for specific program to increase coverage by the targeted group.
Auctioning and disposal of unusable commodities as per Government rules and regulations.
Development of policies for Local Government
Implementation and monitoring of the program to improve school attendance, adolescent girls literacy, literacy and life skills program linking with public health, nutrition, agriculture, small scale livestock development, inter-cropping, and entrepreneurship.

Meet HEAL Group Advisory Members

Dr. Padam Bahadur Chand is Health System Advisor of HEAL Group. He holds MBBS and MPH degree. He has served almost 35 years with Ministry of Health and Population in different capacities. His recent position with Ministry of Health Population was Policy and System Strengthening Advisor. He has been working as a Policy and System Strengthening consultant (as needed) with WHO/Nepal to review government health policy related to universal health coverage and health insurance in the federal. He has published almost one dozen publication related to health policy and system strengthening. He was alternative member of Executive board of WHO in 23015-2016, member of high-level health policy and re-structuring coordination committee of Nepal in 2016-2017 and high-level federalism implementation and health policy formulation committee in 2017-2018.

Dr. Yesho Verdahn Pradhan ?

Bodh Kumar Khanal is Education Expert of HEAL Group. He holds Master Degree in Education His recent position with Deputy Director for National Centre for Educational Development (NCED), Ministry of Education. He served for 38 years at department of health services and its different divisions. He involved in developing yearly program in NCED, ETCs, monitoring Plans, Educational Administration and supervision, Training for Primary and Lower Secondary Teacher, Development of Self Learning Materials, Radio Scripts Development, Report Writing, Radio Program Production, Anchor in Radio Program, monitoring and follow up of Distance Mode Teacher Training. (Including six year experience in Distance Education Centre)
